With a range of experience during her nine-plus years in education including classroom teacher, tech specialist, program coordinator, community marketing, professional education, and professional development, Autumn is sincere and passionate about creating innovative and unique connections to help educators and students succeed. Her teaching experience includes creating and delivering standards-aligned pedagogical curriculum in middle school and high school classrooms, plus creating online learning for adults who want to expand their 21st-century content knowledge. Autumn holds a master's in education and teaching and is currently working on a doctorate in digital educational leadership.
Larissa Wright-Elson
English and Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator @Anchorage School District
For the last 20 years, Larissa has been a secondary English teacher in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2004 and 2014, Larissa earned her National Board Certification in Adolescent & Young Adult English/Language Arts certificate from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Larissa’s experience includes 18 years in the classroom teaching 7th through 12th grades, including: AP Language, AP Seminar, creative writing, Shakespeare, American Literature, World Literature, Digital and Intermediate Composition, and Teen Issues in Literature. In addition, she has written curriculum for the Anchorage School District and the Alaska Learning Network. Larissa holds a master's degree in educational technology and is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, Flipped Learning Trainer, Level 2 Google Certified Educator, Apple Teacher, the 2016 lead PBS Digital Innovator, and a 2018 PBS Digital Innovator All-Star.
